It is sought to allow a control unit part to be made up simply and at low cost, to prevent oozing out at an edge portion of a printing image and to enable inkjet printing at high quality regardless of kinds of the recording medium. To this end, there is provided a method of applying an under-coat in an ink jet recording apparatus of line type for printing rec-orded information, including an ink jet type undercoating unit for prior undercoating on a recorded information printing portion where-in undercoating data are prepared by software manipulation on the basis of printing information recorded data, characterized in that it comprises: laying a mask beneath a layer of a printing image and de-tecting an edge of the printing image; and on the basis of a mask in-formation having the printing image extracted by software manipula-tion, applying an undercoat to an area covering from the printing im-age to an outer side of an edge portion of the printing image.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'assurer une impression par jet d'encre de haute qualité quel que soit le type de support d'impression par la constitution d'une partie contrôleur simple et peu onéreuse, et qui empêche le bord d'une image imprimée de couler. L'invention concerne un procédé d'application d'un produit d'impression dans une imprimante à jet d'encre par ligne, permettant d'imprimer une information, cette imprimante étant équipée d'une coucheuse de produit d'impression de type à jet d'encre destinée à revêtir préalablement une partie destinée à imprimer une information avec ce produit d'impression, et cette imprimante est conçue pour créer des données d'application de produit d'impression par un traitement logiciel fondé sur des données d'enregistrement d'information d'impression, un masque permettant de détecter un bord d'une image d'impression étant déposé sous une couche d'une image d'impression, et le produit d'impression est appliqué sur une zone partant de l'image d'impression jusqu'à l'extérieur de la partie bord de celle-ci fondé sur des informations de masque à partir desquelles l'image d'impression a été extraite par traitement logiciel.
