A method and system for measuring voltage of individual cells connected in series includes a pair of busses connectable to the cells and a flying capacitor connectable to the busses. The capacitor stores the charge of one of the cells such that an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) connected to the capacitor may process an accurate representation of the voltage of the cell being measured. In order to prevent electrical interference with the capacitor and the ADC, the charge on the busses is reduced prior to measurement by the ADC.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de mesurer la tension de cellules individuelles montées en série, le système comprenant une paire de bus pouvant être reliés aux cellules et un condensateur volant pouvant être relié aux bus. Ce condensateur stocke la charge d'une des cellules de sorte qu'un convertisseur analogique-numérique (CAN) relié au condensateur puisse traiter une représentation précise de la tension de la cellule mesurée. Afin d'éviter toute interférence électrique avec le condensateur et le convertisseur, la charge sur les bus est réduite avant la mesure par le convertisseur.
