A dual-flow jet turbine engine thrust reverser has pivoting doors (7) which are integral with the outer wall of the pod in forward thrust and which constitute obstacles deflecting the efflux in reverse thrust after being pivoted by an actuator (8). Each door (7) is fitted with at least one deflector vane (22) of wing-shaped aerodynamic profile, positioned in contact with the efflux in the annular duct (21) in a manner such that the efflux acts on the said vane (22) so as to keep the door (7) in the closed position in forward thrust.

Un inverseur de poussée de turboréacteur a double flux comporte des portes pivotantes (7) intégrées en jet direct dans la paroi extérieure de nacelle et constituant des obstacles de déviation de flux en inversion de poussée après pivotement sous l'action d'un vérin (8). Chaque porte (7) supporte au moins une aube (22) déflectrice à profil aérodynamique en forme d'aile, disposée au contact du flux circulant dans le canal annulaire (21) de manière que le flux exerce une action sur ladite aube (22) tendant à maintenir la porte (7) dans sa position fermée en jet direct.
