In a device used to impregnate rovings with plastic material, an impregnating channel with a succession of spaced spreading elements is formed between boundary surfaces and in the drawing direction on both sides of the boundary surfaces, with inlet-side feed channels for the roving and the matrix material, and an outlet for the impregnated roving. For optimal passage and wetting of the roving the boundary surfaces enclose the impregnating channel (11) concentrically along a common symmetrical axis (5) to form an annular gap (6), the inner boundary surface (69) being formed by an impregnating core (2) and the outer boundary surface (70) by an impregnating shell (1), with the impregnating shell (1) completely surrounding the inpregnating core (2).

Dispositif pour l'imprégnation de roving par une matière plastique, selon lequel un canal d'imprégnation présentant des éléments d'extension disposés les uns à la suite des autres, à une certaine distance, est formé entre des surfaces de délimitation et dans le sens de progression, des deux côtés desdites surfaces, et comportant des canaux d'amenée disposés côté entrée pour le roving et le matériau de la matrice, et un orifice de sortie pour le roving imprégné.
