The invention relates to a pouch bag consisting of an exterior flat or gusseted bag, made of paper or other weblike material, single or multiwall, sewn or pasted end, with a mechanically inserted, flat tube, liner or pouch, which is longer than the exterior or outer bag. Said longer flat tube, made of plastic or other weblike material, is located within the shorter outer bag and incorporates a double-folded-member stretching accross the face width of said tube. The double-folded-member is fashioned with a novel apparatus, during the bag tubing operation. Said double-folded-member rests inside the outer tube, during closure of the bottom end of said tube. After the bag bottom closure, the finished bags are palletized and shipped to the eventual filling station, where the double-folded-member is pulled out of the outer bag, prior to the filling and closing operation. Alternatively, the pouch bag can be cuffed at the factory, whereby the double-folded-member is pulled out of the outer bag and turned inside out and drawn over the top edge of said outer bag, thus fashioning the cuff.
Cette invention concerne un sac doublé constitué d'un sac extérieur plat ou à soufflets, en papier ou en un autre matériau filamenteux, simple ou à parois multiples, à fond cousu ou collé, dans lequel est inséré mécaniquement un tube plat, une doublure ou un sachet, lequel est plus long que le sac extérieur. Le tube plat plus long, fait de plastique ou d'un autre matériau filamenteux, est placé à l'intérieur du sac extérieur plus court et comporte un élément à pli double étiré sur toute la largeur avant du tube. Pour former cet élément à pli double, on se sert d'un appareil innovateur au cours de la formation du tube du sac. L'élément à pli double en question repose à l'intérieur du tube extérieur, au cours de la fermeture de l'extrémité inférieure du tube. Après la fermeture de l'extrémité inférieure du sac, les sacs finis sont palettisés et éventuellement conduits vers un poste de remplissage, où l'élément à pli double est retiré du sac extérieur avant qu'ait lieu l'opération de remplissage et de fermeture. Autre possibilité : on forme le rebord du sac doublé à l'usine; l'élément à pli double est alors tiré hors du sac extérieur, tourné à l'envers et tiré par-dessus le bord supérieur du sac extérieur pour former ainsi le rebord.
