Dispositif pour le déplacement gradué d'un organe (2) dans un tube (3) externe au dispositif, depuis une extrémité de ce tube, ce déplacement étant évalué à l'aide d'un codeur de position fournissant une information sur la position de l'organe placé à une extrémité d'un élément tubulaire qui est monté mobile en translation sur un corps de support du dispositif. L'élément tubulaire est réalisé sous la forme d'une chenille porte-organe (5) munie de crémaillères longitudinales (5A, 5B) à sa périphérie. Cette chenille se déplace par rapport au corps (6) qui la porte sous l'action d'une première courroie crantée (7A) montée sur le corps de support (6), entraînée par un moteur (8) fixé sur ce corps et engrenée avec une des crémaillères (5A). Une autre des crémaillères s'engrène avec une seconde courroie crantée (7B) qui entraîne un codeur de position (9) fixé sur le corps.
