Crystalline polymorphic forms of a compound of formula N-[4- (trifluoromethyl)benzyl]-4-methoxybutyramide are described. The two polymorphic forms, named polymorphic Form A and polymorphic Form B, can be used in the treatment of drug addiction and alcoholism and have very good stability. Methods for preparing the polymorphic forms are also described.
La présente invention concerne des formes polymorphes cristallines d'un composé représenté par la formule N-[4-(trifluorométhyl)benzyl]-4-méthoxybutyramide. Les deux formes polymorphes, dénommées forme polymorphe A et forme polymorphe B, peuvent être utilisées pour le traitement d'une dépendance médicamenteuse et de l'alcoolisme, et présentent une très bonne stabilité. L'invention concerne également des procédés de préparation des formes polymorphes.
