A method and apparatus are described including generating a unique code for each of a plurality of users using a plurality of symbols, generating a plurality of codes representing the plurality of symbols, substituting the plurality of codes into the unique code for each of the plurality of users, permuting the code resulting from the substitution to produce a codeword for each of the plurality of users and embedding the codeword into digital content. The second generating act further includes generating a string of first symbols followed by second symbols, wherein the first symbols are all ones and the second symbols are all negative ones, wherein a number of first symbols is equal to a number of the second symbols, and wherein if a length of the first symbols followed by the second symbols is less than a length of the code, then the first symbols followed by the second symbols are repeated until the code length is filled.
L'invention porte sur un procédé et sur un appareil consistant à générer un code unique pour chacun d'une pluralité d'utilisateurs à l'aide d'une pluralité de symboles, générer une pluralité de codes représentant la pluralité de symboles, substituer la pluralité de codes dans le code unique pour chacun de la pluralité d'utilisateurs, permuter le code résultant de la substitution pour produire un mot codé pour chacun de la pluralité d'utilisateurs et incorporer le mot codé dans un contenu numérique. La seconde étape de génération consiste en outre à générer une chaîne de premiers symboles suivis par des seconds symboles, les premiers symboles étant tous des uns et les seconds symboles étant tous des uns négatifs, un nombre de premiers symboles étant égal à un nombre des seconds symboles. De plus, si une longueur des premiers symboles suivis par les seconds symboles est inférieure à une longueur du code, les premiers symboles suivis par les seconds symboles sont alors répétés jusqu'à remplir la longueur de code.
