The present invention encompasses compounds of Formula I (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein A is the base molecule of a propionic acid or acetic acid NSAID, or a derivative thereof, X is -CO2H, 1H- tetrazol-5-yl or 2H-tetrazol-5-yl and R1 and R2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of: C1-6alkyl and C3-6cycloalkyl, as well as pharmaceutical composition comprising said compounds and methods of using said compounds. The compounds of the present invention lower the level of A.szlig.42 and are therefore useful for preventing, delaying or reversing the progression of Alzheimer s Disease.

La présente invention concerne des composés de formule (I) ou des sels de ceux-ci, acceptables d'un point de vue pharmaceutique, A étant la molécule de base d'un acide propionique ou acide acétique NSAID, ou un dérivé de ceux-ci, X étant -CO¿2?H, 1<I>H</I>-tétrazol-5-yle ou 2<I>H</I>-tétrazol-5-yle et R?1¿ et R?2¿ étant indépendamment choisis dans le groupe formé par : alkyle C¿1-6? et cycloalkyle C¿3-6?, ainsi qu'une composition pharmaceutique comprenant lesdits composés et des procédés pour utiliser ces composés.
