The invention relates to a compact seat component adjustment device with a high gear ratio, said device comprising an electric motor (10), a worm gear (11, 12) which is coupled to the electric motor on the input side, an eccentric gear (13, 14) which is coupled to the worm gear on the input side, and a rotary element (17) which is coupled to the eccentric gear (13, 14) by means of the coupling means (21, 22). The coupling means (21, 22) are embodied in such a way that a tumbling motion of a rotor (13) of the eccentric gear is converted into a rotational movement of the rotary element (17).
