The invention relates to an avionic system for an aircraft comprising at least two pieces of equipment (10a, 10b) which can exchange information by means of at least one electrical bus for simultaneous bidirectional communication, in which the information can be exchanged between pieces of equipment (10a, 10b) via an optical bus (20) that can be connected to the electrical interfaces (11a, 11b) of said equipment. The optical bus (20) of the avionic system comprises at least one optical cable (21) consisting of at least one optical fibre (22) and, at each end, a connector (30) comprising means (41, 42, 45, 46) for converting electrical signals into optical signals and means for converting optical signals into electrical signals. The optical bus (20) is connected to the electrical outlets of existing equipment.

L'invention concerne un système avionique pour aéronef comportant au moins deux équipements (10a, 10b) aptes à échanger des informations au moyen de au moins un bus électrique de communication bidirectionnel simultané dans lequel les informations sont aptes à être échangées entre les équipements (10a, 10b) au moyen d'un bus optique (20) apte à être raccordé sur des interfaces électriques (11a, 11b) desdits équipements. Le bus optique (20) du système avionique comporte au moins un câble optique (21) comportant au moins une fibre optique (22), et, à chaque extrémité, un connecteur (30) incorporant des moyens (41, 42, 45, 46) pour convertir des signaux électriques en signaux optiques et des moyens pour convertir des signaux optiques en signaux électriques. Le bus optique (20) se raccorde sur les prises électriques des équipements existants.
