Dress-hanger adapted to support dresses with different kind, shapes and sizes, comprising a horizontal rectilinear portion (11) provided with a central hook (13) for hanging it on the wardrobes, and sprung coupling elements (23, 24) slidable along the dress-hanger half-portions (21, 22), in order to change the distance from one another depending on the sizes of dresses to be supported. Dress-hanger in which each coupling element (23, 24) engages a covering element (45), which is displaceable from an inserted to an extracted position thereof with respect to such coupling element, wherein such covering element covers the coupling element or provides an extension thereof, thereby permitting such coupling element not to be grasped or to be grasped, so as to be displaced on the opening or closing position thereof. In this way, there are reduced the overall dimensions of the dress-hanger.

L'invention concerne un cintre pour vêtements adapté pour supporter des vêtements de genre différent et de diverses tailles et formes. Ce cintre comprend une partie rectiligne horizontale (11) pourvue d'un crochet central (13) permettant de le suspendre dans une penderie, et des éléments d'accouplement à ressorts (23, 24) pouvant coulisser le long des demi-parties (21, 22) du cintre afin de modifier la distance qui les sépare en fonction de la taille des vêtements à accrocher. Dans le cintre selon l'invention, chaque élément d'accouplement (23, 24) se met en prise avec un élément de couverture (45) qui peut se déplacer pour passer d'une position d'insertion à une position de dégagement de ce dernier par rapport à l'élément d'accouplement. Cet élément de couverture recouvre l'élément d'accouplement ou constitue une extension de ce dernier. Cette disposition assure la préhension ou non de cet élément d'accouplement de manière à le déplacer pour le faire passer en position d'ouverture ou de fermeture. Le système selon l'invention permet de réduire les dimensions globales du cintre pour vêtements.
