The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of psoriasis and other skin diseases. The inventive composition comprises 17- clobetasol propionate and a hydroxy derivative of progesterone having formula (I) wherein: R6 denotes H or methyl; R11 denotes H or hydroxyl; and R17 denotes H or hydroxyl, but R11 and R17 cannot be H simultaneously. Preferably, said composition is administered as a lotion with: 0.05-0.2 % 17-clobetasol propionate; 0.3-1 % of (I); a solvent selected from among ethanol, isopropanol and mixtures thereof; 40 % cosolvent selected from among propylene glycol, glycerine, sorbitol and mixtures thereof; and 20 % water. In the ideal lotion, the solvent is ethanol and the cosolvents are approximately: 35 % propylene glycol, 5 % glycerine and 20 % water. The invention affords the following advantages: longer interval between recurrences and fewer local secondary effects. Moreover, the inventive composition can be used for the treatment of psoriasis.
L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique destinée au traitement du psoriasis et d'autres pathologies cutanées, comprenant du 17-propionate de clobétasol et un dérivé hydroxylé de la progestérone représenté par la formule générale (I), dans laquelle R6 désigne H ou un groupe méthyle ; R11 désigne H ou un groupe hydroxyle ; et R17 désigne H ou un groupe hydroxyle, à condition que R11 et R17 ne désignent pas H en même temps. La composition de l'invention est administrée de préférence sous forme d'une lotion renfermant entre 0,05 et 0,2 % de 17-propionate de clobétasol ; entre 0,3 et 1 % du dérivé hydroxylé de la progestérone représenté par la formule générale (I) ; un solvant sélectionné dans un groupe comprenant de l'éthanol, de l'isopropanol et des mélanges de ces derniers ; 40 % environ d'un cosolvant sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant du propylèneglycol, de la glycérine, du sorbitol et des mélanges de ces derniers ; et 20 % environ d'eau. Idéalement, le solvant utilisé est de l'éthanol et les cosolvants sont constitués à 35 % de propylèneglycol, à 5 % de glycérine et à 20 % d'eau. La composition pharmaceutique de l'invention permet d'espacer les crises de psoriasis et entraînent moins d'effets secondaires locaux. La composition est utile pour le traitement du psoriasis.
