Abstract of the disclosure: Process for preparing an aminophenyl acetate or amino- phenyl diacetate The present invention relates to a process for preparing an aminophenyl acetate or aminophenyl diacetate by reacting a nitrophenyl acetate or diacetate in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst with hydrogen at 0 to 60°C and an H2 pressure of at least 4 MPa in the presence of a solvent or a solvent mixture.
