ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to an earth compacting vibrating roller, comprising a lower structure with two roller drums arranged one behind the other in the direction of movement of the roller, optionally in pairs, with front and rear imbalance generators in the form of rotating weights that are offset by 180° relative to each other being associated with the roller drums. The lower structure is connected to the upper structure through elastic damping buffers. The damping buffers are positioned at least close to the point of minimum oscillation of the lower structure, so that for all practical purposes the lower and the upper structures are totally decoupled from the point of view of these oscillations.
