A socketless mounting platform (1) of the type having a "U" shaped metal band comprising a long band arm (3) and short band arm (4) with reference to a distal canted segment (2); wherein a distal mounting hole (5) has been drilled to facilitate the mounting of a terminal device (13). A half-moon shaped load lifting pad (7) curved to replicate the contour of the human forearm is affixed by means of adjustment holes (6) in the long band arm (3). Provision for suspension is by means of the adjustment holes (6) drilled in both arm bands (3,4). The residual limb (16) is maintained in intimate contact with the socketless mounting platform (1) and load lifting pad (7) by means of a proximal compression strap and toggle (11,12), and a distal compression strap and toggle (9,10).
