A syringe (114) is received with a housing, the syringe having a bore terminating at a forward end in a hypodermic needle (118) and at a rearward end in a flared opening (210) in which a bung (134a) having a bore (206) surrounded by a skirt (208) is inserted. A drive element (134) has a forward end consisting of a substantially flat annular region (200) that bears upon the skirt of the bung and surrounds a conical middle region (202) that is received in the bore (206) of the bung. An actuator advances the drive element (134) so as to advance the bung and discharge the contents of the syringe through the needle (118). The opening (210) in the rear of the glass syringe is flared by being provided with a radius. The combination of the radius at the opening and the projecting conical middle region of the drive element allows misalignments of the two to be managed during automated assembly.

L'invention concerne une seringue (114) logée dans un boîtier et dotée d'un canal se terminant à l'extrémité antérieure par une aiguille hypodermique (118) et à l'extrémité postérieure par une ouverture (210) évasée, dans laquelle est inséré un bouchon (134a) doté d'un canal (206) entouré par une collerette (208). Un élément d'entraînement (134) comporte une extrémité antérieure composée d'une zone annulaire (200) sensiblement plate en appui sur la collerette du bouchon et entourant une zone médiane (202) conique logée dans le canal (206) du bouchon. Un actionneur entraîne l'élément d'entraînement (134) pour faire avancer le bouchon et décharger le contenu de la seringue par l'aiguille (118). L'ouverture (210) à l'arrière de la seringue de verre est évasée et dotée d'un rayon. La combinaison du rayon à l'ouverture et de la zone médiane conique de projection de l'élément d'entraînement permet de gérer des défauts d'alignement de ces deux éléments pendant leur assemblage automatique.
