An herbal remedy is described which may be used in the treatment of eczema, letchen planis, parvo virus, and mange mite. The herbal remedy comprises a mixture containing extracts of the following plants: Labrador tea (Lednum groenlandicum), sheep laurel (Kalmia augustifolia), rhodora (Rhododendron canadense) and leatherleaf (Chamaedaphne calyrulata or Viburnum Wrightii). A method of producing the herbal remedy is also described wherein an extract is prepared from the leaves of each plant and the four extracts are then combined and further reduced.
