A side by side bicycle has a central frame, a first side frame and a second side frame. The central frame supports a front wheel, a rear wheel and a central coupling adapter. The first side frame and the second side frame both support seats, pedals, handle bars, and a first coupling adapter and a second coupling adapter, respectively. An elongate support connects the central coupling adapter, the first coupling adapter, and the second coupling adapter. The positioning of the first side frame and the second side frame along the elongate support relative to the central frame is selectively adjustable to balance respective weight of riders positioned on the first seat and the second seat, without altering the respective steering and pedalling positions.
