The invention relates to a synchronisation method for the uplink channel in a point-to-multipoint communication with OFDM modulation. The inventive method consists in: first, performing a frequency and time synchronisation in relation to the downlink channel (from the headend equipment (1) to the user equipment (2)) using synchronisation sequences (3); subsequently, on the basis of the estimation made, correcting the sampling frequency of the user equipment, the frequency synchronisation of the uplink being performed without the headend equipment making corrections. The user equipment determine the moment (9) for sending the OFDM symbols (7) to the headend equipment such that the headend equipment receives said symbols at predetermined instants. The uplink channel is accessed by interrogating the user equipment. The invention can be used in bi-directional communication for sending data via the electrical network.
L'invention concerne un procédé de synchronisation pour un canal ascendant dans une communication point à multipoint à modulation par multiplexage par répartition orthogonale de la fréquence (OFDM). Ce procédé consiste au préalable à synchroniser en fréquence et en temps le canal descendant (de l'équipement de tête de ligne (1) vers des équipements d'utilisateur (2)) à l'aide de séquences de synchronisation (3) et, à partir de l'estimation réalisée, à corriger la fréquence d'échantillonnage des équipements d'utilisateur, la synchronisation en fréquence de la liaison ascendante étant effectuée sans que l'équipement de tête de ligne réalise des corrections. Les équipements d'utilisateur estiment le moment (9) de l'envoi des symboles OFDM (7) à l'équipement de tête de ligne pour qu'il les reçoive à des instants prédéterminés. L'accès au canal ascendant se fait par interrogation des équipements d'utilisateur. Ce procédé s'applique à une communication bidirectionnelle pour l'envoi de données par le réseau électrique.
