The invention relates to a shelf, particularly for a refrigerator or similar device, comprising at least one panel and at least one add-on plastic structure. The inventive shelf is produced by shrinking said structure after the panel and the structure have been assembled and/or said structure conforming to the edge of the panel and/or exerting a lateral pressure on said edge.
