ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of applying liquid soldering flux which is comprised of the following described steps. Firstly, prepare an applicator consisting of a tubular body and a wick of felt like material disposed in the tubular body. The wick has an applicator tip projecting from an end of the body. Secondly, pour liquid soldering flux into the applicator such that the wick becomes partially saturated With liquid soldering flux. Thirdly apply liquid soldering flux by manipulating the tubular body to draw the applicator tip of the wick across a surface thereby depositing a uniform lawyer of liquid soldering flux.
