The invention relates to piperazine derivatives of formula (I), wherein R1, m, k and R2 have the meaning given in Claim 1. Said piperazine derivatives are potent 5-HT1A agonists, have 5-HT-re-uptake inhibiting effects and are suitable for treating and preventing anxiety states, depression, schizophrenia, obsessive thoughts, tardive dyskensia, learning impairments and memory disturbances caused by age, for positively influencing compulsive behaviour, and for treating and combating the effects of cerebral infarctions, such as strokes and cerebral ischaemia.

L'invention concerne des dérivés de pipérazine de la formule (I), dans laquelle R?1¿, m, k et R?2¿ correspondent à la définition donnée dans la revendication 1. Ces dérivés sont des puissants agonistes de 5-HT¿1A?, présentent des effets inhibant la réabsorption de 5-HT et peuvent être utilisés pour le traitement et la prophylaxie d'états d'angoisse, de dépressions, de la schizophrénie, d'obsessions, de dyskinésies tardives, de troubles de l'apprentissage, de troubles de la mémoire dépendant de l'âge, pour influer positivement sur des comportements obsessionnels, et également pour traiter et pour combattre les séquelles d'infarctus cérébraux tels que l'apoplexie cérébrale et des ischémies cérébrales.
