An electrophotographic recording apparatus comprising a photosensitive means, a charging means, an exposure means, a developing means, a transfer means and a means for recharging the photosensitive means. In the electrophotographic recording apparatus, the photosensitive means is recharged after a developed image is transferred to a transfer sheet. The electric voltage level of the photosensitive means is uniform because after the transfer means is stopped, the charge means and develop means are active.
