The invention relates to a steam cooker composed of at least one cooking element (3) having a peripheral lateral wall (35), intended to be placed on a pedestal (8) having a steam production base (1) surmounted, if need be, by a vessel (2) for recovering juices and/or a cooking support. According to the invention, the cooking element (3) can be disposed in an inverted position on the pedestal (8), the peripheral lateral wall (35) at least partially enveloping the pedestal.
L'invention concerne un cuiseur vapeur comprenant un élément de cuisson (3) comportant une paroi latérale périphérique (35), destiné à être placé sur un socle (8) comportant une base de production de vapeur (1) surmontée le cas échéant d'un récipient récupérateur de jus (2) et/ou d'un support de cuisson. Conformément à l'invention, l'élément de cuisson (3) peut être disposé en position retournée sur le socle (8), la paroi latérale périphérique (35) enveloppant au moins partiellement le socle (8).
