A hockey players gloves with removable weights in which the weights are insertable and removable from a pocket associated with a pad formed in the gloves in which a portion of the pad is positioned between the inserted weight and the surface of the pad adapted to engage or block a hockey puck that may be traveling at a relatively high rate of speed. The gloves may be used both as a warm up aid for use just prior to a game or as a training aid during various practice periods. Padding in the hockey players gloves which faces the shooter prevents contact of the hockey puck with the weight with the surface of the puck blocking pad facing the shooter retaining its normal characteristics so that movement of the puck and rebound of the puck will be same as occurs with original equipment. The pocket receiving the weight is provided with a closure and the weight is preferably metal and provided with a coating of resilient material, such as rubber or the like.
La présente invention vise des gants pour joueurs de hockey, comportant un plomb amovible inséré dans un logement aménagé dans le coussinet du gant conçu pour retenir ou bloquer une rondelle de hockey se déplaçant à une vitesse relativement élevée. Ces gants peuvent être utilisés comme aides au réchauffement, à utiliser juste avant une partie, ou comme aides à l'entraînement, à utiliser pendant les séances prévues entre les matchs. La partie du coussinet de protection à l'intérieur du gant, qui fait face au lanceur, empêche tout contact de la rondelle avec le plomb, ce qui fait que la surface de blocage du gant conserve ses caractéristiques normales et permet le même mouvement et le même effet de retour de la rondelle que dans le cas d'un gant traditionnel. Le logement du plomb est muni d'une fermeture et le plomb est de préférence en métal recouvert d'un matériau résilient, comme du caoutchouc ou un autre matériau similaire.
