Novel Hepatitis C E1 and E2 truncated polypeptides and complexes comprising these polypeptides, are disclosed. The polypeptides are C-termally truncated to remove all or a portion of their membrane spanning domains. Hence, the polypeptides are capable of secretion when expressed recombinantly.

Cette invention a pour objet de nouveaux polypeptides à troncature E1 et E2 de l'hépatite C et des complexes comprenant ces polypeptides. Les polypeptides sont tronqués au terminal C pour éliminer tout ou partie de leurs domaines recouvrant la membrane. Ces polypeptides sont par conséquent capables de sécrétion lorsqu'ils sont exprimés par recombinaison.
