A device for affixing a decking member (1) to a joist (9) includes a jig body (25) positionable atop a pair of spaced-apart decking members positioned atop a joist. The jig body has an angled bore (49) having a bottom end extending through a bottom face of the jig body, the bottom end of the angled bore in communication with the space (59) between the decking members. The angled bore defines a centerline (28) extending through the space to a position on the side (3) of the first decking member. The angled bore is for receiving a fastener (70) drivable therethrough into the first decking member's side face, through the first decking member's bottom face, and into the joist~s top face.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de fixation d'un élément de platelage (1) sur une solive (9) présentant un corps de gabarit (25) que l'on peut placer au-dessus d'une paire d'éléments de platelage écartés placés sur la solive.
