A gaming system method uses typically a wireless communication device, and includes the following steps: Call data is provided identifying a gaming system player. This would normally be a typical identifying number plus a PIN number. A call is initiated from the wireless communication device (such as a cell phone) through a telephone call network to a financial center, requesting a cash transfer. Based on the call data, the transfer is credited to the wireless communication device or to a casino, to the credit of the player. Upon receiving of the predetermined balance of the cash transfer, one may communicate, using the wireless communication device, to transfer a portion or all of the predetermined cash balance from the wireless communication device or casino to the credit of a particular gaming machine, thus enabling the gaming machine for play just as if physical cash has been provided to it.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de système de jeu faisant généralement intervenir un dispositif de communication hertzienne, et comprenant les étapes suivantes: des données d'appel identifiant un joueur du système de jeu sont fournies. Il s'agit en général d'un numéro d'identification typique plus un code PIN. Un appel est initié par le dispositif de communication hertzienne (tel qu'un téléphone cellulaire) via un réseau d'appel téléphonique en direction d'un centre financier, ledit appel faisant la demande d'un transfert d'argent. En se basant sur les données d'appel, le transfert est crédité vers le dispositif de communication hertzienne ou vers un casino, vers le crédit du joueur. A la réception du solde prédéterminé du transfert d'argent, une communication peut se faire, au moyen du dispositif de communication hertzienne, pour transférer une partie ou la totalité du solde prédéterminé du dispositif de communication hertzienne ou du casino, vers le crédit d'une machine de jeu particulière, la machine de jeu permettant ainsi de jouer comme si elle avait reçu de l'argent physique.
