An interface module is disclosed for interchange points in telecommunications and data networks. The object of the invention is to develop an interface module of a generic type which defines clear responsibility areas, safely separates these areas from one another, and ensures that only those persons withrespective authorization have access to the respective areas. This is achieved by providing two mutually-separate responsibility areas I, II, which are protected against unauthorized access from one to the other, each responsibility area I, II having at least one termination and at least one tap.

L'objet de l'invention est de développer un module d'interface d'un type générique qui définit clairement les zones de responsabilité, les sépare les une des autres de façon sûre et garantit que seules les personnes ayant les autorisations appropriées puissent y avoir accès. Ceci se fait en établissant deux zones de responsabilité mutuellement séparées I et II qui sont protégées chacune contre les accès non autorisés à partir de l'autre, et qui ont chacune une terminaison au minimum et une prise au minimum.
