Seat and/or backrest part (18 or 17) of folding furniture (10), especially garden or camping furniture, comprising a frame and a cover (35) which may be anchored to this frame. The frame includes two hollow sections (20, 21 or 22, 23 or 24, 25) which are arranged at a distance from one another determining the width or length of the seat or backrest surface and are open on at least one face and with a longitudinal slot (34), in such a way that the cover (35) may be led into and through the open face of the hollow sections (20...25)and their longitudinal slot (34). The edges of the cover (35) are held inside the hollow sections (20...25) by edge strips (39) formed on same. The edge strips may be displaced inside the hollow sections in a direction perpendicular to their longitudinal extension with corresponding tensioning of the cover (35).

Siège et/ou dossier (18 ou 17) de meuble pliant (10), notamment de meubles de jardin ou de camping, constitué d'un cadre et d'un revêtement (35) pouvant être ancré au cadre. Ce dernier comprend deux sections creuses (20, 21 ou 22, 23 ou 24, 25) dont l'espacement entre elles délimite la largeur ou la longueur de la surface du siège ou du dossier.
