Generally in a power system management method for managing a power system via a Web communication net, there has been a disadvantage of easily accessing any optional electronic terminal. Relay settings are prevented from being changed by any person other than those in charge of maintenance, monitoring or change in the relay settings. The invention provides a power system management method using an equipment control apparatus for controlling facility equipments constituting a power system, and a monitoring control apparatus being provided distant from said equipment control apparatus and obtaining internal information about said equipment control apparatus via a Web communication net to monitor a state of said power system based on said internal information; in which function of the equipment control apparatus is changed via a communication line of higher security than that of the monitoring system via the Web communication net.
