Self-thickened aqueous cleaning compositions are described which comprise an alkyl sulfate anionic surfactant and an electrolyte system. The compositions are made physically stable, even at low temperature, by incorporating therein a nonionic surfactant from a selected class. The figure compares a composition of the present invention containing UKANIL R, an ethoxylated alcohol the same composition not containing UKANIL R. The present invention shows viscosity stability over a broad temperature range.

Compositions de nettoyage aqueuses, auto-épaissies, renfermant un surfactifs anionique à base de sulfate d'alkyle, et un système d'électrolyte. Les compositions sont stabilisées physiquement, même à basse température, en y incorporant un surfactif non ionique d'une catégorie sélectionnée. La figure compare une composition de la présente invention renfermant de l'UKANIL R, un alcool éthoxylé, et la même composition sans UKANIL R. La présente invention décrit la stabilité de la viscosité dans une grande plage de température.
