It is intended to provide a process for efficiently producing a recombined protein free from the N-terminal methionine. In culturing a host transformed by an expression vector for expressing a gene-modified protein, the dissolved oxygen concentration in the liquid culture medium is controlled to about 1 ppm or lower. Thus, the ratio of the expression of a recombined protein free from the N-terminal methionine is elevated compared with the case wherein no such control is performed.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production efficiente d'une protéine recombinée exempte de méthionine N-terminale. La culture d'un hôte transformé par un vecteur d'expression pour exprimer une protéine modifiée par un gène permet de réguler à environ 1 mg/l au maximum la concentration d'oxygène dans le milieu de culture liquide. Ainsi, le ratio de l'expression d'une protéine recombinée exempte de méthionine N-terminale est augmenté par comparaison avec le cas où une telle régulation n'est pas effectuée.
