ABSTRACT 1. The Lève-O-Tech is an apparatus allowing persons with limited mobility (disabled or elderly) to sit on a seat outside the bathtub and, using a new device, to lift themselves with a manual control; 2. To allow the person to transfer easily from a wheelchair to the Lève-O-Tech, the seat goes to the user's desired height; 3. Using this revolutionary device, users do not need to move their legs, because the seat rises above the edge of the bathtub; 4. Furthermore, the Lève-O-Tech seat goes completely down to the bottom of the bathtub, contrary to existing models. This gives users complete autonomy; 5. The Lève-O-Tech system is equipped with a moveable arm and seat, facilitating cleaning of the bathtub and the system itself; 6. The seat and arm of the Lève-O-Tech system are easily put away, preventing breakage or use by someone else, and making the bathroom safer for children; 7. The Lève-O-Tech is equipped with a cylinder operating with water from the shower head.
PRÉCIS 1. Le lève-o-tech est un appareil permettant aux personnes ayant une mobilité réduite (handicapé ou personne âgée) de s'asseoir sur un siège à l'extérieur de la baignoire et par un dispositif nouveau, la personne s'élève elle-même par un contrôle manuel. 2. Afin de permettre que la personne se transfert aisément de son fauteuil roulant au lève-o-tech, le siège se positionne à la hauteur voulue ou désirée par l'utilisateur; 3. Par ce dispositif révolutionnaire l'utilisateur n'a pas à manipuler ses jambes vu que le siège va à une hauteur supérieure au rebord de la baignoire. 4. De plus, le siège du Lève-O-Tech descend complètement au fond de la baignoire, contrairement aux modèles existants. Le fait d'aller complément au fond du bain permet à l'utilisateur d'avoir une autonomie complète; 5. Le système Lève-O-Tech est muni d'un bras et d'un siège amovibles, permettant de nettoyer plus facilement la baignoire et le système lui-même; 6. Le siège et le bras de l'appareil Lève-O-Tech se remisent très facilement permettant ainsi d'éviter des bris ou son utilisation par des tiers et rend plus sécuritaire la chambre de bain si des enfants l'utilisent. 7. Le Lève-O-Tech est muni d'un cylindre fonctionnant à l'eau provenant de la pomme de douche;
