The invention relates to a thermally insulated synthetic resin container (1, 31, 61, 81), a thermally insulated synthetic resin lid (21, 51) , and a manufacturing method therefor. The thermally insulated synthetic resin container (1, 31, 61, 81) comprises a thermoinsulating layer (4, 43, 65, 92) comprising a thermoinsulation material (5, 34, 64, 84) in which is retained at least one low thermoconductive gas selected from the group consisting of xenon, krypton, and argon, disposed in a space between a synthetic resin inner container (3, 33, 63, 83) and outer container (2, 32, 62, 82). The thermally insulated synthetic resin lid (21, 51) similarly comprises a thermoinsulating layer comprising the thermoinsulation material (24, 54), disposed between a synthetic resin lower lid (22, 52) and upper lid (23, 53). The synthetic resin thermally insulated container (1, 31, 61, 81) and lid (21, 51) can be manufactured more easily than conventional thermally insulated metal containers, at lower manufacturing cost. Moreover, this has excellent heat retention performance significantly better than conventional insulation material thermally insulated containers made of synthetic resin. Furthermore, this has excellent effective volume ratio, and replete with the convenience that it can be microwave heated using a microwave oven.
