The invention concerns a swivel joint system designed to be mounted in a cryogenic liquid transfer line, such as liquefied natural gas, and the return of cold gas associated with the cryogenic liquid transfer. The system is of the type comprising a swivel joint for the passage of the cryogenic liquid and a swivel joint for the return of the cold gas, each device comprising a conduit (12, 29) provided with a fixed conduit portion (12a, 29a) and a conduit portion rotating (12b, 29b) relative to the fixed conduit portion and rotational guiding means (44) interposed between the two conduit portions. The system is characterized in that the swivel joint device for the passage of the gas return is integrated in the swivel joint device for the passage of the cryogenic liquid. The invention is useful for offshore stations.
L'invention concerne un système de joint tournant destiné à être monté dans une ligne de transfert d'un liquide cryogénique, tel que du gaz naturel liquéfié, et du retour de gaz froid lié au transfert du liquide cryogénique. Le système est du type comprenant un dispositif de joint tournant pour le passage du liquide cryogénique et un dispositif de joint tournant pour le retour du gaz froid, chaque dispositif comprenant un conduit (12, 29) pourvu d'une partie de conduit fixe (12a, 29a) et une partie de conduit rotative (12b, 29b) par rapport à la partie de conduit fixe et des moyens de guidage en rotation (44) interposés entre les deux parties de conduit. Le système est caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de joint tournant pour le passage du retour de gaz est intégré au dispositif de joint tournant pour le passage du liquide cryogénique.
