A hydrocarbon exploration method is disclosed for generating anisotropic resistivity models of a subsurface reservoir from seismic and well data using a rock physics model. In one embodiment, the method comprises: selecting wells within a region of interest (101); obtaining a plurality of rock properties (102) and adjusting selected rock parameters (103) in the calibration of the rock physics model at the well locations; inverting porosity and shale content from seismic data (107); propagating the calibrated rock physics model to the region of interest (109) and calculating effective resistivity for the entire region of interest (109). The inventive method also provides for analyzing the uncertainty associated with the prediction of the resistivity volume.
Linvention concerne un procédé dexploration dhydrocarbure pour générer des modèles de résistivité anisotrope dun réservoir souterrain à partir de données sismiques et de puits à laide dun modèle de physique des roches. Dans un mode de réalisation, le procédé comprend : la sélection de puits dans une région dintérêt (101); lobtention dune pluralité de propriétés de roche (102) et lajustement des paramètres de roche sélectionnés (103) dans le calibrage du modèle de physique des roches au niveau des emplacements du puits; linversion de la porosité et de la teneur en schiste argileux à partir des données sismiques (107); la propagation du modèle de physique des roches calibré à la région dintérêt (109) et le calcul dune résistivité effective pour la région dintérêt entière (109). Le procédé inventif fournit également lanalyse de lincertitude associée à la prédiction du volume de résistivité.
