ABSTRACT In kitchen chopping boards, a flat surface is provided for the chopping of foodstuffs. In this invention rectan- gular openings are provided near one end and along one side of the board, into which collecting dishes are placed. A scooped-out area adjacent to one side of each opening is provided to allow easy removal from and replacement to the board. The dishes can be used for the collection of chopped foodstuffs and of refuse from this process, allowing the work surface of the board to be kept clear at all times.
