The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions that comprise: a) a safe and effective amount of a diazonium salt bonding agent having the structure (formula I) wherein X represents a cosmetic benefit agent that may or may not be attached via a chemical linker; and b) a cosmetically acceptable carrier for the bonding agent wherein the composition is administered topically to mammalian proteinaceous substrates and wherein the bonding agent reacts with a protein contained in the substrate such that the bonding agent, and thus the cosmetic benefit agent, is covalently attached to the substrate. The invention further relates to methods of using the compositions described above as well as various products that include the claimed compositions.
L'invention concerne des compositions cosmétiques contenant : a) une quantité sûre et efficace d'un liant de sel de diazonium possédant une structure (formule I) dans laquelle X représente un agent cosmétique bénéfique qui peut être ou non fixée à un lieur chimique; et b) un support acceptable sur le plan cosmétique destiné au liant dans lequel la composition est administrée de façon topique à des substrats protéiques mammifères et dans lequel le liant est mis en réaction avec une protéine contenue dans le substrat de sorte que le liant, ainsi que l'agent cosmétique bénéfique soient fixés au substrat de manière covalente. L'invention concerne, en outre, des procédés d'utilisation des compositions décrites ci-dessus ainsi que divers produits renfermant ces compositions.
