A panel system, particularly for flooring, comprises panels releasably secured together by coupling elements. The panels are connected together at a common joint by a form-fit connection, and the coupling elements secure them simultaneously in three directions, a first direction perpendicular to the common joint, a second direction perpendicular to a common surface plane of the panels, and a third direction along the common joint. The coupling elements are preferably in the configuration of a letter H, in a direction parallel to the common surface after installation. The invention provides greater security from damage during assembly, and from unwanted movement after installation.

L'invention porte sur un système de panneaux, notamment pour revêtements de sol. Lesdits panneaux sont assujettis entre eux par des éléments d'accouplement amovibles. Ils sont liés au moyen d'un joint ajusté commun dont les éléments d'accouplement les fixent simultanément sur trois axes, le premier étant perpendiculaire au joint commun, le deuxième perpendiculaire à une surface plane des deux panneaux et le troisième dans l'axe même du joint.
