- 15 - Abstract Device for mounting a balancing weight on a vehicle wheel. In order to provide a device (100) for mounting a balancing weight (113) comprised of a weight body (13) and a retaining spring (14) on a vehicle wheel (110), in which, when the weight body (13) is mounted, the retaining spring (14) is pushed between the tire (10) and the rim flange (11), in which the device possesses a detachable mounting means (16) for accommodating the retaining spring (14) of the balancing weight (113), with which a balancing weight (113) is mechani- cally mountable on a vehicle wheel (110), it is proposed that the device (100) comprises a thrusting or striking means dis- posed behnd the detachable mounting means (16), which, when actuated, thrusts the balancing weight (113) out of the moun- ting means (16).
