The invention relates to the modification of human Factor VIII (FVIII) to result in FVIII proteins that are substantially non-immunogenic or less immunogenic than any non-modified counterpart when used in vivo. The invention relates furthermore to T-cell epitope peptides derived from said non-modified protein by means of which it is possible to create modified FVIII variants with reduced immunogenicity.
L'invention se rapporte à la modification du facteur VIII humain (FVIII), qui permet d'obtenir des protéines FVIII qui sont sensiblement non immunogènes ou moins immunogènes que tout homologue non modifié lorsqu'elles sont utilisées <i>in vivo</i>. L'invention se rapporte en outre à des peptides épitopes des lymphocytes T dérivés de ladite protéine non modifiée au moyen desquels il est possible de créer des variants FVIII modifiés dotés d'une immunogénicité réduite.
