An external fixator (10) for distal radius fractures provides an elongated support rod (15) that includes proximal (16) and distal (17) rod sections. Radius fixation pins (26, 27, 56, 57) are provided for engaging the patient's radius bone tissue. Radius support clamps (25, 41) are rotatably supported upon the proximal rod section (16) and distal rod section (17), each of the pins (26, 27, 56, 57) being movable in rotational fashion both with respect to the rod (15) and with respect to the pins (26, 27, 56, 57).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif externe de contention (10) pour fractures distales du radius. Ce dispositif comporte une tige support (15) de forme oblongue, caractérisée par une partie proximale (16) et une partie distale (17). Le dispositif est pourvu de broches (26, 27, 56, 57) de contention du radius destinées à pénétrer dans le tissu osseux du radius du patient. Des brides de fixation (25, 41) sont montées en rotation sur la partie proximale (16) de la tige et sur la partie distale (17) de la tige, chacune des broches (26, 27, 56, 57) étant mobiles en rotation non seulement par rapport à la tige (15), mais également par rapport aux broches (26, 27, 56, 57).
