Apparatus for facilitating the removal of material deposited at the bottom (6) of a volume of liquid (7) the apparatus including a suction pump assembly (2) associated with a suction head/nozzle (9) mounted to a user handling element (4) and means (24) drivable by the motor for displacing sucked-in water and (8) to a delivery location (11), in such manner that when in use the pump assembly (2) can be submerged, and wherein the suction pump assembly (2) includes means (40) for enabling controlled air escape from the vicinity of the means (24) for displacing air from of the pump assembly the arrangement being such as to prevent air blockage of and material flow through the pump following raising of the latter out of water.

L'invention concerne un appareil permettant de faciliter le retrait de matériaux déposés au fond (6) d'un volume de liquide (7), l'appareil comprenant un ensemble pompe d'aspiration (2) relié à une buse/tête d'aspiration (9) montée sur un élément de manipulation par l'utilisateur (4) et un moyen (24) pouvant être entraîné par le moteur pour déplacer l~eau aspirée (8) jusqu'à un emplacement de refoulement (11), de manière à ce que, en cours d'utilisation, l'ensemble pompe (2) puisse être submergé, et l'ensemble pompe d'aspiration (2) comprenant un moyen (40) pour permettre un échappement contrôlé de l'air à proximité du moyen (24) permettant de déplacer l'air en provenance de l'ensemble pompe, l'arrangement permettant d'empêcher tout blocage d'air et écoulement de matériaux au travers de la pompe suite à la surélévation de cette dernière hors de l'eau.
