In a process for coating disc-shaped data storage media (8) with a coating agent which is applied to the storage medium (8) via a coating nozzle (1) in its inner region and spread thereover by the centrifugal force arising when the storage medium (8) is rotated, it is possible to achieve a high coating rate reliably and with shorter coating times and with less complex manufacturing and maintenance if the coating nozzle (1) is moved quickly in an initial movement cycle close to the coating agent application point (12) and in a second movement cycle (11) slowly to the point of application (12). A device for implementing the process is given.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de recouvrir des supports de données (8) sous forme de disques avec un agent de revêtement. Ce dernier est appliqué sur ledit support de données (8) à l'aide d'au moins un ajutage de revêtement (1) dans la zone intérieure dudit support de données (8) et est réparti sur ledit support de données (8) sous l'effet de la force centrifuge produite lorsque ledit support de données (8) tourne. On parvient en toute fiabilité à une vitesse de revêtement élevée, à des temps d'immobilisation plus réduits, ainsi qu'à une fabrication et une maintenance moins complexes, si dans une première phase de mouvement (9), l'ajutage de revêtement (1) est déplacé rapidement à proximité du point d'application (12) de l'agent de revêtement et dans une seconde phase de mouvement (11), lentement au niveau du point d'application (12). L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif permettant de mettre ledit procédé en oeuvre.
