Methods and systems for compensating for crosstalk in a telecommunications jack are disclosed. One method includes manufacturing a circuit board having a zone of crosstalk compensation between a first wire pair and a second wire pair, the zone of crosstalk compensation including a capacitive coupling connected between the first wire pair and the second wire pair and a second capacitive coupling selectively connectable in parallel with the capacitive coupling. The method further includes determining a crosstalk value generated by the jack including the manufactured circuit board. The method also includes, upon determining that the crosstalk value is outside of a crosstalk pass band, adjusting the zone of crosstalk compensation by altering an electrical connection between the second capacitive coupling and the capacitive coupling after the circuit board has been manufactured.
L'invention porte sur des procédés et des systèmes pour compenser une diaphonie dans un jack de télécommunication. Un procédé consiste à fabriquer une carte de circuits pourvue dune zone de compensation de diaphonie entre une première paire de fils et une seconde paire de fils, la zone de compensation de diaphonie comprenant un couplage capacitif connecté entre la première paire de fils et la seconde paire de fils et un second couplage capacitif apte à être sélectivement connecté en parallèle au couplage capacitif. Le procédé consiste en outre à déterminer une valeur de diaphonie générée par le jack comprenant la carte de circuits fabriquée. Le procédé consiste également, lorsquil est déterminé que la valeur de diaphonie est en dehors d'une bande passante de diaphonie, à ajuster la zone de compensation de diaphonie par altération d'une connexion électrique entre le second couplage capacitif et le couplage capacitif après que la carte de circuits a été fabriquée.
