The invention concerns a palettizable container for preserving and transporting, under controlled atmosphere and pressure, products (vegetables, cheese, micro-organisms, grains, substrates and the like) requiring a particular type of atmosphere during storage, comprising a first part completely impermeable to gases and vapours and a second part in the form of a member (12, 13, 14) controlling the gas and vapour fluxes between the inside of said container and outside air, the first part including a rigid base element (5), a lateral element, and an element forming a rigid cover (5), said elements being capable of being tightly linked together, and the second part being integrated in the base element (4). The invention is characterized in that the lateral element consists of peripheral walls (6) of a plurality of rigid and stackable intermediate elements (3), each intermediate element being in the form of a crate open in its upper part and having an open-worked base (7), the base element (4), the intermediate elements (3) and the cover-forming element (5) including junction means, (20, 21) serving for sealed fixing between a lower element with an immediately upper element.
L'invention concerne un emballage palettisable pour conserver et transporter, sous atmosphère et sous pression contrôlées, des produits pouvant nécessiter une atmosphère particulière pendant la durée de leur garde, comportant une première partie totalement imperméable aux gaz et vapeurs et une deuxième partie sous la forme d~un organe (12, 13, 14) contrôlant les flux de gaz et de vapeurs entre l~intérieur dudit emballage et l~extérieur, la première partie comportant un élément de fond rigide (5), un élément latéral, et un élément formant couvercle rigide (5), lesdits éléments étant susceptibles d~être reliés entre eux de manière étanche, et la seconde partie étant intégrée dans l~élément de fond (4), caractérisé par le fait que l~élément latéral est constitué par les parois périphériques (6) d~une pluralité d~éléments intermédiaires (3) rigides et empilables, chaque élément intermédiaire se présentant sous la forme d~une caisse ouverte dans sa partie supérieure et ayant un fond à claire-voie (7), l~élément de fond (4), les éléments de jonction (20, 21) assurant la fixation et l~étanchéité entre un élément inférieur et un élément immédiatement supérieur.
