An auxiliary air-conditioning system for a motor vehicle, in particular a truck (1) comprising a tractor (2) provided with a driving cab (3) and possibly a sleeper compartment (4), and a primary air-conditioning system connected to the main engine and to the battery (19) of the truck (1) . The auxiliary air~conditioning system is totally independent of the primary air~conditioning system of the truck (1) and is formed by an external unit (7) designed to be set on the outside of the driving cab (3) and/or of the sleeper compartment (4), and by at least one heat-exchange unit (8), which is hydraulically and electrically connected to the external unit (7) and is designed to be set inside the driving cab (3) and/or inside the sleeper compartment (4).
L'installation porte sur un système de conditionnement d'air auxiliaire pour véhicule à moteur, en particulier pour un camion (1) comprenant un tracteur (2) équipé d'une cabine de conduite (3) et, éventuellement, d'un compartiment-couchette (4), et d'un système de conditionnement d'air principal relié au moteur principal et à la batterie (19) du camion (1). Le système de conditionnement d'air auxiliaire, qui est totalement indépendant du système de conditionnement d'air principal du camion (1), est formé d'une unité extérieure (7) conçue pour être installée à l'extérieur de la cabine de conduite (3) et/ou du compartiment-couchette (4), et d'au moins une unité d'échange thermique (8) qui est électriquement et hydrauliquement reliée à l'unité extérieure (7) et qui est conçue pour être installée à l'intérieur de la cabine de conduite (3) et/ou à l'intérieur du compartiment-couchette (4).
