A method for editing objects on a device comprising forming a first path on a touch screen with a pointing device. The first path at least partially encloses an object. The at least partially enclosed object is automatically selected. A second path is formed at a predetermined area on the touch screen with the pointing device. The second path activates an editing operation.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour l'édition d'objets sur un dispositif, procédé comprenant la formation d'un premier parcours sur un écran tactile au moyen d'un dispositif de pointage. Le premier parcours entoure, au moins partiellement, un objet. L'objet entouré au moins partiellement est automatiquement sélectionné. Un second parcours est formé en une aire prédéterminée sur l'écran tactile au moyen du dispositif de pointage. Le second parcours active une opération d'édition.
